Meetings - Reuniões

English Club meetings are held from:
- the end of August until the end of November
- February to May

As reuniões do Clube de Inglês realizam-se:
- de agosto a novembro
- de fevereiro a maio

The meetings are held on Saturdays from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. and are divided into the following activities:

As reuniões realizam-se aos sábados, das 17:00 às 19:00 h e são divididas nas seguintes atividades:

ICE-BREAK

Everyone says his/her name and some personal information, such as, how many people are in their family, their favorite food etc.

QUEBRA-GELO
Todos os participantes dizem o nome e alguma informação pessoal como, por exemplo, quantas pessoas há em sua família, comida favorita etc.

SONGS

There is a song sheet which contains gospel songs at an intermediate level of English. Following the singing of each song an opportunity is given to ask questions as to the meaning of unfamiliar words and their pronounciation.

MÚSICAS
Há uma folha de músicas que contém cânticos evangelísticos em um nível intermediário de inglês. Após cada cântico cantado, é dada oportunidade para os participantes tirarem alguma eventual dúvida no vocabulário ou em relação à pronúncia das palavras não familiares.

SPECIAL ACTIVITY

This might include the presentation of English grammar points, curiosities about the American culture, or games that require the use of English.

ATIVIDADE ESPECIAL

Pode ser a apresentação de pontos da gramática inglesa, curiosidades da cultura norte-americana, ou brincadeiras que requeiram o uso do inglês.

BIBLE LESSON

This includes studies from both the Old and New Testament with applications focusing on the need of accepting the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior.

LIÇÃO BÍBLICA

Estudos do Velho e Novo Testamentos com aplicações enfocando a necessidade de aceitação do Senhor Jesus Cristo como Salvador.


CONVERSATION TIME

The large group forms smaller ones to give everyone an opportunity to talk about a variety of subjects. This also gives opportunities to discuss and explain more about the subject of the Bible Lesson. During this time snacks are served and invitations are given for special programs at the Fortaleza Academy.

CONVERSAÇÃO

O grupo grande de participantes é dividido em pequenos grupos a fim de dar a todos uma oportunidade de falar sobre vários assuntos. Também dá a oportunidade para a discussão e explicação da Lição Bíblica. Durante este momento, um lanche simples é oferecido a todos e são feitos convites para programações especiais na Fortaleza Academy.
